When It Happens
The Carnival runs for ten days, bridging late January into early February each year. In 2027, for example, it runs January 28 through February 6, with the sculptures finished for judging by the end of that first week and the Mardi Gras Parade closing the festival on the final day.

The Snow Sculptures

Even if the carving weren't happening, the week is packed.
